What a party! Much thanks to Claudia Dahlman and her wonderful crew: Carol Conaway, George and Kim Feaster,
Cynthia Fox, Angela Graber-Licht, Wende Hester, Judith Peterson, Patti Payne, Geri Thomas, Sue Vollentine, Susan
Williams and many, many more volunteers.
We had a great turnout Saturday night, with approximately 500 people attending. Music, dancing, libations, food,
magicians -- you name it, we had it!
On Sunday, July 31, the Grand Opening, ribbon cutting ceremonies took place for the public and library patrons who have
so missed using the library services (since June 19!). Dignitaries, speeches, book characters, candy, and lots of new
information about this wonderful facility!
The Largo community so deserves the new Largo Public Library! Stop by the "Bookmark Cafe" on your way in or out for
coffee, soft drinks, snacks, pastries, salads, sandwiches and soup!
